I’m Craig Hull, a freelance photographer and videographer with a passion for photojournalism, live music, and the creative process in all its raw and honest forms. I currently live in the Perpignan region of southern France, where the light, culture, and rhythm of daily life constantly feed my work.
Originally from the UK (born in 1983), I studied photography and have spent the past two decades exploring both the craft and the story behind the image. My journey has taken me across Eastern Europe, South America, and beyond, working on assignments for newspapers, magazines, and personal long-term projects. Along the way, I’ve worked in portrait studios, documented social issues, and captured the visceral energy of live music scenes.
My approach is grounded in analogue film and alternative photographic processes, which I continue to explore alongside digital tools. I believe in the power of imperfections, the mood of grain, and the emotional weight of a well-timed frame.
Right now, I’m developing ‘Come To Light’, an educational platform focused on visual storytelling through photography and video. It’s a space for emerging storytellers to learn, connect, and be inspired—built around interviews, history, documentary work, and hands-on guidance.
Photography and filmmaking are at the core of everything I do—from formal study to traveling the world, capturing compelling stories.
Whether advocating for important issues, documenting everyday life, or exploring the technical intricacies of architecture, my work is always rooted in authenticity—real, unaltered, and true to the moment.

I’m available for commissions, creative collaborations, portraiture, and interior work. Whether it’s a one-off shoot or a story that unfolds over months, I’m drawn to projects that ask questions, seek truth, and connect people through visual language.
